EJS Remodeling has spent more than 20 years building for families across South Shore, MA. We are locally and family owned, which means the person who answers your call lives in the same towns we build in. Josh Steinman founded the company on a foundation of carpentry, and that hands-on background still shapes how every job gets planned and built. More than 1,200 completed projects later, the standard has not changed.

We want to be the remodeler South Shore homeowners recommend without hesitation; the company that makes the process feel easy and leaves the work looking right years after the job is done. That goal sets the standard for every conversation we have, every job site we run, and every room we hand back to a family.
Meet Josh Steinman
Josh built this company with his hands, and he still measures every project by what a skilled carpenter would accept. He grew up in the trade, started EJS Remodeling on his own terms, and has spent two decades proving that doing things correctly the first time is the only business model worth having.
Away from the job site, Josh is with his kids, playing guitar, or somewhere on a trail with a canoe nearby. He cares about growing the business for the same reason he cares about all of it. Simply, he believes that every project puts another South Shore family in a home that works better for them, and that matters.

The South Shore is home, and we invest in it the way neighbors do. EJS Remodeling sponsors our local firefighters and a youth baseball team, supporting the people who protect these towns and the kids growing up in them. We are not just a contractor working in the area. We are part of it.
